Happy Obamacare Day!

Today marks the 6-month anniversary of the passage of Obamacare and all it’s broken promises. The Washington Examiner has a good breakdown of what’s coming – a few highlights:

  • Healthcare costs will continue going up
  • Most will be required to change coverage
  • Insurance premiums will rise
  •  Regulations on tax compliance are going raise the cost of running even the smallest businesses
  • It will make the IRS more powerful and intrusive.

 Enjoy.

We are currently without insurance, Jack. The companies that previously insured small business in Colorado are pulling out. We cannot get insurance. Let me say that again — we cannot get insurance even if we could pay a fortune for it. So we are paying out of pocket, and this will not last long. I do not know what we would do without the Lord. That is whom I’m looking to, and not the government. But c’mon most people are going to go there. They will feel they have no other choice. I get angry just thinking about that. The yoke is being put around our necks and people’s selfishness has rendered them too stupid to realize what’s happening. It’s sad, but really it’s no surprise when I consider the mistakes so many of us have made with government — thinking that we can govern ourselves effectively without God in our hearts.

Lisa, I’m so sorry about that – we have been there, and I know how frightening it can be, especially with children. You will definitely be in our prayers. How long have you all been without insurance? Is it just because of the small business changes in Colorado?

Thanks for stopping by – long time no see.
